Жастайынан спортты өзіне серік еткен ол қазіргі таңда «Қол күрес» және «Гір тасын» көтеру бойынша спорт шебері. Бұл спорт түрлерімен 2005 жылдан бері айналысады. «Қол күресі» бойынша облыс көлемінде бірнеше дүркін жүлдегер атанған. Қазақстан қарулы күштерінің төрт дүркін чемпионы. 2010-2012 жылдар аралығында ЦСКА құрама командасының құрамында болған. 2011 жылы ҚР Аэроұтқыр әскерлеріне қарасты десантты шабуыл құрама командалары арасында қол күрестен I-орын, ал 2012 жылы Халықаралық елдер арасындағы «Степный орел» оқу- жаттығуында I-орын иеленген. 2012 жылы КР қарулы күштері чемпионатында қол күрестен ІІ-орынды иеленген, 2015 жылы Өскемен қаласында өткен өрт сөндірушілер арасындағы Қазақстан чемпионатында ІІ-орынның иегері. Әлі күнге дейін өрт сөндіруші және құтқарушылар арасында «Қол күрес» және «Гір тасын» көтеруден өткізіліп жүрген жарыстардың алғы шебінде.
Сондай-ақ өз қызметінде де тілсіз жаудан бірнеше рет адам өмірін құтқарып қалып, үздік екендігін дәлелдеген өрт сөндіруші. Атап айтар болсақ: 2019 жылы Шымкент қаласы А.Байтұрсынов көшесіндегі көпқабатты тұрғын үйде орын алған кезінде барлау барысында төртінші қабатқа көтерілгенде пәтердің бірінде түтінге уланып қалып қойған 2014 жылы туылған қызды қауіпсіз жерге шығарып, өмірін аман алып қалды. Сондай-ақ
2022 жылғы Нұрсәт шағын ауданында орналасқан көпқабатты тұрғын үйдің үшінші қабатында орын алған өрт кезінде 1980 жылы туған ы ер азаматтық тауып алып, сыртқа қауіпсіз жерге алып шығып, оған алғашқы көмек көрсетіп, «103» қызметкерлеріне табыстайды.
